These pieces are inspired by the work of Firelei Baez. Most all of her work is compiled by the use of watercolors and a surrealism style which often incorporates the imagery her own face and body.  For my collection of work I combined Baez's style of using silhouetted imagery of my own face and body with my own style of surrealism which incorporates a theme of universal energy and interconnectivity.  These pieces are creates with watercolor medium and some ink/graphic work as well.  The combination of our styles produces an interesting twist on my own work that will definitely play a role on my pieces going forward.

Serial Working (Off Paper)

In this off paper exercise we were instructed to video record particular movements or bodily motions that creates a sense of meaning.  For my 5 videos I was inspired by Goat Island as well as everyday factors that play a subconcious, yet an important individualistic role throughout my days. These elements include dreaming/breathing, skateboarding, pondering and more.
